Outstanding developers and projects from Mongolia are competing in the regional grand final following a strict selection process.

- 25 October 2017: Five companies from Mongolia have made the elite shortlist of the annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards, the region's
biggest and most respected real estate awards programme, which takes place in
Singapore this November.
In association with MGL International LLC, the final list of nominees was unveiled by organiser PropertyGuru Group to recognise Mongolia's best developers and showcase their achievements on a regional platform as the country joins the prestigious property tilt for the first-time ever.
NCD Group, an Ulaanbaatar City-based firm that has built a reputation for conducting social impact assessments and green construction practices, has been shortlisted for a Special Recognition in Sustainable Development. The company has been known to plant trees on the banks of Tuul River, Bogd Khan Mountain and the Nairamdal area yearly.
Diversified company Turelt LLC is shortlisted for the Best Boutique Developer award for adhering to international technical standards and employing security technologies in its projects.
In the Best Apartment Development category, Parkview Residence by Jiguur Grand Group faces Olympic Residence by Asia Pacific Investment Partners. Both apartments are nearing completion and offer retail amenities so that residents can stay in their respective communities during Mongolian winters. Jiguur Grand Group has also been cited for its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The lone shortlist for the Best Hotel Development award is Red Rock Resort and Conference Center by Undur Ulaan Travel LLC. Located in Gorkhi Terelj National Park, the IACC Green Star-certified hotel opened its doors in 2016 and features contemporary, minimalist aesthetics.
An independent judging panel based in Mongolia (led by Christopher de Gruben, managing partner, FRGS, MRICS - Registered Valuer, Accredited Expert Witness) deliberated on the eligible entries for this competition under the guidance of BDO, the world's fifth biggest accountancy and auditing firm, the official supervisor of the Awards.
Mongolian developers are now headed to the seventh annual gala dinner of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final on 8 November for the black-tie ceremony to be held at Singapore's Sands Expo and Convention Center at Marina Bay Sands, where around 400 key senior figures from around Asia will participate.
Celebrating its landmark 12th year, PropertyGuru's premier awards series has gone Asia-wide in 2017, with Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and Macau participating at the much-awaited grand final event, joining domestic winners from Cambodia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore.Terry Blackburn, founder and managing director of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards, said: "It is extremely satisfying to see the Asia Property Awards grow and expand into new markets every year. The exclusive gala dinner for shortlisted companies will begin with a two-hour international networking cocktail reception, followed by the opening remarks and speeches, four-course dinner, and the awards ceremony proper. Alongside the gala dinner, PropertyGuru's C-suite conference - the two-day Asia Real Estate Summit 2017 - will be held at the same venue in the daytime.
