PropertyGuru survey reveals most-searched properties for Nov 2011

New survey shows buyers shifting attention away from prime central districts

Singapore - 9^th December, 2011 - PropertyGuru.com has unveiled a new survey that ranks the most popular Singapore property searches on www.PropertyGuru.com.sg  each month. Called ‘Top of the Props', the survey gives insights into the most searched condominiums, residential districts and HDB estates on Asia's leading property portal.

In November 2011, Botannia, City Development's condominium in West Coast Park (District 5), topped the list as the most-often searched condo on the website. The project was completed in 2009 and features 493 units in eleven 12-storey towers.

District 15 emerged as the most popular area for home sales, followed by districts 10 and 11. For rentals, District 9 came up as the most searched choice, followed closely by districts 10 and 11.

Meanwhile, Bedok was the most popular HDB estate for rentals while Jurong West was the most popular estate for HDB sales.

Andrew Batt, Regional Group Editor for PropertyGuru, said: "Our monthly data for November reveals that older, more established developments and districts are equally popular with Singapore property buyers, renters and investors when compared with newer projects."
