SINGAPORE, 5 July 2016 – PropertyGuru Group, (“PropertyGuru” or the “Group”), Asia's leading online property group, recently launched the third annual PropertyGuru Great Singapore Specials (PGSS) campaign, introducing a 360º virtual reality experience as a new way to showcase property launches for Singapore property seekers.
The virtual reality experience aims to help property seekers better visualize a property that is still under construction or in the pre-selling stage. With this simulated tour, property seekers can put on a pair of virtual reality goggles and move their head in any direction to explore the showflat, just as they would if they were inspecting the property in real life. It makes for a truly immersive and intuitive viewing experience.
To bring this VR experience to the general public, a series of roadshows have been planned in 3 malls across the country. Real estate agents and experts will also be available on ground to provide advice on the local real estate scene, as well as insights on finding the ideal property for new property hunters or upgraders.

This initiative represents a leap forward for the real estate industry. While developers have previously offered 360º video or virtual tours, this is the first time property seekers have been able to put themselves in the planned environment – a true virtual reality experience.
