Marina Bay Sands
Arguably the most impressive and prominent landmark of the area, Marina Bay Sands is a local icon with resort-like amenities.
It is the world’s most expensive standalone casino property. Therein, you’ll find a luxury hotel, infinity swimming pool, world-class celebrity chef restaurants, and high-end luxury branded stores.
The stunning towers include a Marina Bay Casino (for visitors over the age of 21), Sands Theatres, two Crystal Pavilions (with an underwater tunnel to Louis Vuitton!), as well as Convention and Exhibition Centres.
The Sands SkyPark refers to the steel boat situated on top of the towers. It’s the world’s longest elevated swimming pool, alongside a rooftop garden and internationally acclaimed rooftop dining-nightclub concepts Lavo and Ce La Viè.
Marina Bay Shoppes
As mentioned above, the Shoppes has a wide array of attractive activities. These include the Marina Bay Sands Indoor Ice-Skating Rink, Sands Theatres, ArtScience Museum and Indoor gondola rides. The Marina Bay Sands Lightshow occurs by the bay at night.
The Marina Bay Shoppes are also home to some of the world’s most luxurious clothing and jewellery brands. These include, Gucci, Cartier, Louis Vuitton (in the Crystal Pavillion), Chanel, Hermès, Vera Wang Bride, and Salvatore Ferragamo.
Within the Shoppes are a few celebrity chef restaurants: Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay, Cut by Wolfgang Puck, and DB Bistro & Oyster Bar by Daniel Boulud.
Gardens by the Bay
Featured in Planet Earth 2, Gardens by the Bay is a spectacular site that has gained international attention for its grand 50m tall ‘supertrees’ and impressive Flower Domes. The Gardens were built with sustainable intentions, providing the area with some greenery and clean air.
Bay East is one of the gardens at Marina East that links to East Coast Park, while Bay Central on Marina Centre stretches to reach the Hellix Bridge.

Coming Soon: Lifestyle Developments in Marina Bay
The Urban Redevelopment Authority released a grand vision Master Plan for the Marina Area called the Greater Southern Waterfront District.
The district will integrate with the Downtown Core and Central Business District to bring more residential, recreational, tourist, and business facilities.
The 30-km long waterfront will provide locals with a cycling and pedestrian walk-way, connecting to The Southern Ridges and Gardens by the Bay.

As mentioned above, this brings the chance of more businesses opening in the Business District and therefore more employment options.
