In 2021 when Great World MRT station opens its doors to the Thomson-East Coast Line, it will be even easier for residents to commute and for visitors to see what the area has to offer. Even now, Clarke Quay MRT station and Somerset MRT station are only a 10 minute walk from many parts of the region. River Valley Road is an arterial road with usually free flowing traffic and there are many bus services and routes taking you into the CBD as well as most other parts of the island. The CTE traverses the area giving access to the other expressways.
