Schools in Tengah
There is a long list of primary and secondary schools near Tengah including popular ones such as Bukit Panjang Government High School, De La Salle School and Swiss Cottage Secondary School.
Parents of young children will be pleased to know that in addition to numerous PCF Sparkletots preschools, there is also an MOE Kindergarten located within Dazhong Primary School.
For parents with older children, there are a number of nearby tertiary institutions including ITE College West, Millennia Institute, Jurong Junior College and Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
There is also an international school near Tengah. Dulwich College caters to children from the ages of 2 to 18. They also offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

There are also two polyclinics near Tengah; namely Bukit Batok Polyclinic at Bukit Batok West Avenue 3 and Choa Chu Kang Polyclinic at Teck Whye Crescent.
In addition, residents can turn to Ng Teng Fong Hospital or St Luke’s Hospital for emergency medical care. The newly opened Ng Teng Fong Hospital offers 700 beds and 18 operating theatres. St Luke’s Hospital is a community hospital with a focus on geriatric care.

Sunshine Plaza has a Giant Supermarket while Lot One has a Fairprice. There is a FairPrice Xtra in JEM and Jurong Point. There is also a Cold Storage in West Mall.
For kimchi lovers, there is a Sol Mart in West Mall and a Seoul Mart in Westgate. The two minimarts sell all kinds of groceries from South Korea.
