NTUC Choice Homes Co-operative sets the initial phase of Trevista condo located at Toa Payoh at an average cost of $898 psf. This value is 20 percent lesser than the Centro Residences beside Ang Mo Kio Hub, which has an average price of $1,150 psf.
However, Trevista’s condo units are bigger than Centro’s units; the price difference in all terms is possibly lesser.
Far East Organization sells about 100 condo units in total, an outcome which several market watchers perceive as a result of the price resistance.
These two projects are being offered on a 99-year leasehold.
Trevista is located beside Braddell MRT Station. Shops and amenities stores at Toa Payoh Central and HDB Hub are just nearby. Centro is a 34-storey structure with 329 condo units, which lies beside Ang Mo Kio Hub and in front of Ang Mo Kio MRT Station.
The average prices of $898 psf and $1,150 psf for these two projects are intended for the usual progress expense schemes. Buyers who are after the interest absorption scheme will give an additional 2 percent at Trevista and 4 percent at Centro. As yet, not a single buyer of Centro opts for this interest absorption scheme.
NTUC Choice Homes reveals that Trevista’s absolute average price quantum are $830,000 for a unit consisting of two bedrooms, $1.065 million for a three-bedder unit, and $1.43 million for an apartment with four bedrooms, on a standard progress payment plan.
This weekend, the developer will release 210 units, consisting of apartments with two, three and four bedrooms. Overall, the project comprises 590 units within the three 39-storey towers.
Business associates of Choice Homes, including the members of NTUC union and the public are invited to register in the project preview. The co-operative is stretching out special benefits intended for union members only for a limited preview time.
Every member who wants to buy a unit in Trevista will be provided with 55,000 LinkPoints and will be allowed to choose from the three benefits, each is worth $6,000 – a NTUC Income Mortgage Protection Plan for free; an integrated fridge; or a cash rebate for members of the union living close to their children or parents residing in Toa Payoh or for various family-purchases of condo units.
