JLL launches Property Investment Guide for Asia Pacific

1 Dec 2010

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), in conjunction with law firm Blake Dawson, has launched a joint Property Investment Guide for Asia Pacific.

The guide, which covers 14 major countries, deals with issues ranging from property tenure, operational requirements for foreign corporations and major property legislation.

The Asia Pacific Property Investment Guide aims to outline the important issues that investors have to consider when investing in property around the region, which includes some of the most transparent and least transparent property markets in the world.

Megan Walters, JLL’s head of research for Asia Pacific Capital Markets, commented: “The fast pace of economic growth in Asia Pacific makes the countries in this region a magnet for foreign investors. This guide will be a valuable resource for investors looking at the range of real estate markets available for investment. We are particularly pleased to have produced this guide with Asia Pacific based law firm Blake Dawson, and with the assistance of law firms based in each separate jurisdiction. This gives the guide an additional depth to the information on the legal side of investing in real estate.”
