The managers of Asia Property Fund (APF) – LaSalle Investment Management and Prudential Property Investment Management (Singapore) Ltd – named Yung Ho as the investment manager and Erle Spratt as fund manager.
As an investment manager, Ms. Ho will oversee the implementation of the company’s investment and asset management strategies to bring strong investment returns.
Meanwhile, Mr. Spratt will be involved in the decision making of AFP’s investment strategy, as well as lead investor relations and capital raising initiatives for the company in relation with the LaSalle client services team.
Prior to his new role, Mr. Spratt was the head of origination and fund manager of the Asian Retail Investment Fund for Lend Lease Investment Management (Lend Lease) in Singapore. His 16 year-career at Lend Lease covered property development, financial services and investment management across the Asia Pacific region. He was formerly with Deloitte and became an active member of the Asia Public Real Estate Association, as well as served as co-convenor and board director of the group.
Ms. Ho, on the other hand, has been working with LaSalle since 2000. Her 13-year career involved asset management, acquisitions and securities, as well as portfolio management. She has invested in all major markets and property sectors across the Asia Pacific region, as well as to more than US$300 million of acquisitions. She also helped establish LaSalle’s Korea office and was responsible for the acquisition of the Nara building in Seoul.
