The Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts brand is making its debut in Bangkok’s CBD.
“This hotel provides the perfect launch pad for the Crowne Plaza brand in Thailand,” said Mark Winterton, general manager of Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park.
Providing panoramic views of the city, the 241-room hotel is located on the 21st to 32nd floors of the Ramaland complex in the Silom-Rama IV district. It is close to two main public transport options – the Silom subway and Sala Daeng sky train, both providing quick access to the rest of the city, as well as within close proximity to several retail, entertainment and dining options in the Silom area.
"The location and business-oriented services and facilities — promising a great night’s sleep and intuitive business solutions — make it an ideal choice for the corporate traveller and meetings market. The hotel also showcases all the hallmarks of the Crowne Plaza brand,” said Mr. Winterton.
Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park features dedicated meeting spaces on the 21st floor, as well as the Crowne Meetings Team that provides personalised services. It also offers various upscale dining and leisure options, including five food-and-beverage outlets, extensive banqueting facilities, a spa and a resort-style pool.
A unit of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Crowne Plaza has nearly 80 hotels and resorts in the development pipeline in the Asia Pacific region alone.
The Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park is the fourth hotel of the group in Bangkok and the tenth IHG hotel in Thailand.
