CCT still undecided on StarHub Centre property

25 Jun 2010

CapitaCommercial Trust (CCT) has announced that it has yet to decide on its StarHub Centre property.

It said that it is still evaluating all possible options for its asset plan for the StarHub Centre and has yet to arrive at any decision.

As part of its evaluation process, the property firm said that it conducted a non-legally binding expression of interest exercise to determine interest for the sale of the property. It added that there is no certainty that a deal may materialise.

CCT clarified its stand after a report said that the company may sell StarHub Centre.

Earlier this year, the company announced that it has acquired permission from the government to make changes to the composition of StarHub Centre. It received approval to redevelop the property from a pure commercial use to up to 20 percent commercial and 80 percent residential use.
