Construction firm Lian Beng has won an S$88-million contract to develop a condominium project at Spottiswoode Park Road.
The contract, awarded by UOL Development, covers the development of a 36-storey residential tower as well as other ancillary facilities. This is the company’s fourth building contract of the company from the private residential sector since March.
Lian Beng’s latest contract is expected to increase its order book to around S$940 million.
Construction work is scheduled to start this month and expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2013.
Lian Beng posted a 52-percent increase in net profit to S$17.4 million for the nine months ended 28 February 2010. In addition, the company also saw a 4.5-percent growth in revenue to S$240.5 million.
Lian Beng will release its full year results by the end of this month.
