Local property agency PropNex has achieved a major milestone as it celebrates ten successful years of trusted customer service and professionalism next week.
Propnex’s success has been the product of hard work, dedication and passion, as well as its business strategy to leverage on economies of scale and its conceptualization of the Dual Career Path for associates, which it pioneered in 2000, providing experienced agents with a mentoring alternative to constantly brokering deals.
The company was formed in 2000 out of a merger between property agency PruLink, founded by PropNex directors Alan Lim and Joseph Lee, property agency Nooris Consultants, founded by PropNex CEO Mohamed Ismail and wife Nooraini Noordin, and other real estate agencies.
PropNex has introduced several self-regulatory measures over the years, including the Professional Indemnity insurance for every agent to protect the interests of consumers. It has also required all of its agents to fulfil 12 hours annually of Continual Professional Development, an initiative already practiced by the company even before the Ministry of National Development honoured such measures.
In a period of ten years, the company has amassed a total of 281,391 resale transactions, earned nearly $800 million of gross commission and transacted more than $60 billion worth of properties. The company has also been ranked as one of the market leaders in the industry, capturing 35 percent and 30 percent market shares for the private and public housing resale markets, respectively.
Propnex occupies the largest real estate mega office of over 30,000 sq ft at HDB Hub, and employs over 80 permanent employees – the largest real estate workforce in Singapore. It provides 13 hours of daily support to agents and customers, five-and-a-half days a week.
