Hong Leong Group said that more than 75 percent of its newest residential project, The Scala , has been sold at an average price of $1,150 psf.
Located in Serangoon Avenue 3, the 99-year leasehold, 468-unit development was made available for sale on Wednesday. Its developers said the project features five residential towers that comprise one to four-room units ranging from around 474 sq ft to 2,142 sq ft.
Betsy Chng, head of sales and marketing at Hong Leong, said the strong response was due to the location, pricing, finishing and unique features of the project.
Most of the buyers are Singaporeans, with a mix of HDB upgraders and investors.
The Scala, which is slated for completion in 2014, is situated next to the Circle Line’s Lorong Chuan MRT Station and close to the MRT interchange at Serangoon Central, as well as to the upcoming NEX mega mall.
Aside from the usual condominium facilities, the project will have extra features including a Green Gazebo, a Harvest Garden, and pavilions with teppanyaki hotplates and wood-fired pizza ovens.
