Infrastructure, construction and precast company Koon Holdings, through its wholly-owned subsidiaries Econ Precast Ltd and Contech Precast Ltd, has secured new precast projects worth S$16.3 million.
Under the contract, Econ and Contech will supply, design and deliver precast components for public housing development over a period of between 15 and 18 months.
The company said that with the new contract, its precast order book now stands at S$53.2 million.
It noted that precast products are beginning to see more activity in the country’s construction industry. “With the increase of foreign worker levy in Singapore, on-site productivity has become the key focus for the construction industry,” it said.
Tan Thiam Hee, Chief Executive and Managing Director of Koon Holdings, said the company’s “precast concrete division continues to reinforce their presence in Singapore and this provides a platform for our regional aspirations.”
