The Viridian begins previews today

Industrial property developer Global Orion Properties has entered the residential market with The Viridian in Balestier, with a private preview today.

“The Viridian is an urban sanctuary with a lot of green elements such as landscaping and trees on the sky terrace. Other features include Wi-fi connectivity on the sky terrace and an infinity cantilevered pool,” said Mr. Satia Narjadin, Director of Global Orion Properties, who spoke with PropertyGuru.

He noted that the development “marks our first premier residential project which will contribute towards the redevelopment of Balestier into an upmarket residential hub near the city centre.”

The freehold development is Global Orion’s first residential project, after establishing a portfolio of modern industrial projects, such as Northstar@AMK, The Crescent @ Kallang, i-Lofts @ Changi and Meissa in Pasir Panjang in the past few years.

Once completed, The Viridian will be a 108-apartment tower, with unit sizes ranging between approximately 500 sq ft and 3,300 sq ft.

The 23-storey project will comprise 22 one-bedroom, two three-bedroom, 16 one-bedroom loft-and-study, 44 one-bedroom-and-study and 22 two-bedroom-and-study units, as well as two penthouses.

It will provide “all the creature comforts in a heritage- and culturally-rich enclave and yet conveniently located on the city fringe to provide stylish residential living and facilitate the enjoyment of life’s finest,” said Mr. Satia, adding that the “penthouses will include a private infinity pool and jacuzzi.”

Located along Jalan Ampas, The Viridian is minutes away from the Novena and Orchard shopping centres and provides easy access to the Novena and Toa Payoh MRT stations, Central Expressway (CTE) and Pan Island Expressway (PIE).

Prices of the apartments start from S$785,000, (approximately S$1,550 psf) for a one-bedroom unit.
