An executive condominium (EC) site at Upper Serangoon View has been made available for sale under the reserve list of the 1H2011 Government Land Sales (GLS) programme.
Under the government’s reserve list system, developers who are interested in acquiring the site can submit their applications, indicating their minimum offer prices to the HDB. The public housing agency will then put the site up for sale by tender, upon acceptance of their applications.
Located at Upper Serangoon View, the EC site has a total area of 12,392 sq m and maximum gross floor area (GFA) of 43,372 sq m, with a gross plot ratio of 3.5. It has a leasehold period of 99 years and can yield up to 420 EC units.
The site is well connected through arterial roads like Tampines Road and Upper Serangoon Road, as well as expressways such as the CTE, KPE and TPE. It also enjoys a wide range of entertainment, shopping and leisure options, with nearby shopping malls like Kang Kar Mall, Hougang Mall and Hougang Plaza.
In addition, the HDB and Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) will be releasing three new residential sites at Serangoon Garden Way, Upper Serangoon Road / Pheng Geck Avenue and Punggol Field / Punggol Field Walk, as well as a commercial site located at Robinson Road / Cecil Street, under the confirmed list this month. HDB said the four sites can yield up to 1,380 residential units.
“This is part of the total 14,310 residential units that could be generated from both the confirmed and reserve lists in the 1H2011 GLS Programme,” said HDB.
