The tender for a 103-year leasehold land parcel at Pasir Ris Central / Pasir Ris Drive 1 has attracted a total of nine bids, with Singxpress Land (Pasir Ris) Pte Ltd and Kay Lim Holdings Pte Ltd offering the highest bid of approximately S$123.88 million (S$3,023.64 psm).
Zoned for public housing under the Design, Build and Sell Scheme (DBSS), the site has a total area of 16,388.2 sq m and a maximum gross floor area (GFA) of 40,970.5 sq m. It is estimated to fetch 410 housing units.
Yuan Ching Development Pte Ltd offered the second highest bid of approximately S$103.69 million (S$2,530.80 psm) for the site. Following closely was Kienta Engineering Construction Pte Ltd, which offered S$103.65 million (S$2,529.87 psm).
The lowest bid of S$75.70 million was submitted by Qingdao Construction (Singapore) Pte Ltd.
Other developers who participated in the tender were EL Development Pte Ltd (S$98 million), NTUC Choice Homes Co-operative Limited (S$97.39 million), Centurion Re Pte Ltd and Lian Beng Land Pte Ltd (S$93.18 million), Sim Lian Land Pte Ltd (S$91 million) and a joint venture (JV) between Hoi Hup Realty Pte Ltd, Sunway Developments Pte Ltd and Investment Focus Pte Ltd (S$90.56 million).
HDB noted that it will evaluate the tender results and a decision on the award will be made at a later date.
