LaSalle Investment Management has appointed Paul Guest as its new Head of Research and Strategy for Asia Pacific effective 1 September 2011.

He will be working with the Global Strategy team, which analyses regional economies and property markets, as well as capital markets in 150 metropolitan areas and 30 countries.

“Asia Pacific is a key region for our global growth strategy, which recently included solidifying our presence in the Australia market. Paul has extensive experience managing real estate and economic research teams. We are delighted to add someone of his calibre to our group of investment professionals based in the region,” said Jacques Gordon, International Director of Investment Strategy and Research based in Chicago.

Guest joins the company from Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), where he was Head of EMEA Research. He offers his broad experience in managing the operational and strategic functions of research teams. Prior to joining JLL, he was Director of UK Research and the Chief European Economist at Moody’s Economy.com/Moody’s Investors Service.

“Paul joins LaSalle at a key point in our evolution as a leader in the Asia market. We will look to Paul to help interpret macro trends throughout this fast-growing region and to participate in the development of top-performing investment strategies for our investors,” said Gordon.
