The first South East Asia Property Awards (SEAPA) 2011 will be held in Singapore on 30 November, with TV news network Channel NewsAsia (CNA) as its official International media partner.
A subsidiary of MediaCorp, CNA is the most watched news channel in Singapore, with more than 60 percent market share and over 30 million subscriptions from homes and hotels. Its participation in 2011’s SEAPA will not only promote the event across its network but also increase the winners’ exposure, as well as that of the event’s sponsors and partners.
“We are happy to be co-organiser of the inaugural South East Asia Property Awards to honour the best talents in the industry, and to play a part in explaining to viewers the stories behind the growth of the regional real estate industry, and the many opportunities these present to the world,” said Debra Soon, Managing Director of News at CNA, MediaCorp Pte Ltd.
She added that Southeast Asia’s residential properties are among the most beautiful in the world, and the media provider has featured most of them in its programmes.
Terry Blackburn, Chief Executive at Ensign Media, said that “this is great news for the South East Asia Property Awards and regional real estate in general.”
“We recognise CNA’s market leading position locally and its significant international reach in territories such as China, India, Hong Kong and Taiwan, which will ensure that our winners are widely known throughout Asia. CNA is a dynamic and forward thinking media partner that we look forward to working closely together with to promote the best of South East Asian real estate.”
Ensign Media launched the event to recognise the finest in South East Asia’s residential real estate sector.
