Property giant CapitaLand bagged the prestigious Golden Circle Award and Most Transparent Company Award (Real Estate) for the 12th consecutive year at last night’s Securities Investors Association Singapore (SIAS) Investors’ Choice Awards.
The Golden Circle Award is the highest honour given to the most transparent company across industry sectors.
“We are honoured to be conferred the Golden Circle Award, as well as Most Transparent Company Award (Real Estate) in the SIAS Investors’ Choice Awards for the 12th consecutive year,” said Liew Mun Leong, President and CEO of CapitaLand Group.
“It is testament of our efforts in practising good corporate governance principles,” he added.
In total, the company won five awards at the event. Its listed entity, CapitaMall Trust, won the Singapore Corporate Governance Award 2012 (REIT category) and was also runner-up for Most Transparent Award in the REITs & Business Trust category.
At the same time, Wilson Tan, CEO of CapitaMall Trust Management Limited, was among the eight winners of the inaugural Brendan Wood International – SIAS TopGun CEO Designation Award.
