Tiong Seng Holdings Limited has secured a contract worth approximately S$93 million to build 97 terrace houses at the Haus@Serangoon Garden development (pictured).
Located in Serangoon Garden estate, the homes will comprise five bedrooms, attics, basements and family/entertainment areas.
Jointly developed by City Developments Limited (CDL) and Hong Realty, Haus@Serangoon Garden is sited on 300,000 sq ft of land. The project offers buyers the chance to customise certain areas of their homes like the front porch and side garden.
The development also features a slew of green features, including a 1 kilowatt-peak photovoltaic system that generates electricity using solar panels. A comprehensive passive green design helps minimise heat gain and maximise ventilation in each home, while a rain harvesting system is used to conserve potable water usage.
Construction works for the project is scheduled to start in December.
Pek Lian Guan, CEO of Tiong Seng Holdings, said: “We are excited at being awarded yet another environmentally-sustainable residential project by CDL – the first-of-its-kind for landed housing.”
“Having constructed a strong portfolio of green buildings in Singapore, Tiong Seng has amassed solid experience and expertise in green and sustainable construction.”
