A total of 515 of the 603 units released at eCO (pictured) have been sold just one month after sales began on 22 September.

All 240 two- and three-bedroom apartments at the project were snapped up while SOHOs and suites also received strong interest, especially from professionals aged between 30- to 49-years old, accounting for 54 percent of buyers.

The 748-unit development by Far East Organization, Frasers Centrepoint and Sekisui House is the first private residential project in Bedok South to be launched in 30 years.

Over 90 percent of buyers were Singaporeans or permanent residents (PRs), said the developers.

“The positive market response to eCO thus far signals a robust demand for integrated residential developments and the attraction of a strong ecology theme,” noted Chia Boon Kuah, Chief Operating Officer of Property Sales and Executive Director, Far East Organization. He added that the profile of buyers highlights eCO’s appeal to diverse groups.

eCO features a slew of eco-friendly features in line with its theme “In harmony with nature”. Greenery is integrated into the five residential zones – SOHO, Suite, Loft, Condominium and Townhouse. Prices start from S$810,000 for a one-bedder suite.

The project is expected to be completed in 2017.
