The Housing and Development Board (HDB) and Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) will release six new residential sites this month, providing more housing choices to home buyers in Singapore.
The 99-year leasehold sites could yield a total of 2,380 homes as part of the total 14,100 residential units released under the Q1 2012 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.
Yesterday, three land parcels (Sengkang Square, Buangkok Drive and Pasir Ris Drive 3) were released under the confirmed list that could yield up to 1,780 units. Two other sites (Alexandra View and Farrer Drive) were launched under the reserve list. The last plot at Farrer Road will be released on 30 April under the reserve list.
The sites at Sengkang Square and Buangkok Drive (pictured) could generate about 1,290 homes.
Meanwhile, the 2.2-ha site at Pasir Ris Drive 3 is within close proximity to Pasir Ris MRT station and Bus Interchange.
At the same time, the land parcel at Alexandra View has an area of 0.8-ha and is located near the Central Business District, Marina Bay, Orchard Road and Southern Waterfront area.
Lastly, the land parcels at Farrer Drive and Farrer Road will likely yield 140 units and enjoy easy accessibility to major roads and expressways.
The tenders for the sites at Sengkang Square, Pasir Ris Drive 3 and Buangkok Drive will close on 31 May, 5 June and 12 June respectively.
