Keppel Land has appointed Loh Chin Hua (pictured), Chief Financial Officer of Keppel Corporation, as a non-independent, non-executive Director on its Board as well as a member of its Audit Committee with effect from 1 July.
In a statement, Choo Chiau Beng, Chairman of Keppel Land, said: “We welcome Chin Hua to our Board. His breadth of experience and in-depth knowledge of the real estate and property fund management businesses will contribute significantly to further strengthen and grow Keppel Land.”
The 51-year old is also Chairman of Alpha Investment Partners Limited (Alpha), Keppel Land’s real estate fund management unit.
With more than 25 years of experience in real estate investing and funds management, Loh has worked in Asia, Europe and the US. Before joining Alpha, he served as Managing Director of Prudential Investment Management Inc.
Meanwhile, Teo Soon Hoe, Senior Executive Director of Keppel Corporation, will retire from the Board of Keppel Land after 21 years of service.
“On behalf of the Board and management, we thank Soon Hoe for his invaluable contribution to Keppel Land’s growth and his wise counsel and commitment during his long tenure of service,” said Choo.
The Board is currently made up of 11 directors, with seven independent directors.
