Former Miss Thailand named brand ambassador for Tulip Group

A former Miss Thailand has become Brand Ambassador for leading Pattaya property development company Tulip Group.

Khun Pannada Wongphudee (nicknamed Boom), who was crowned Miss Thailand in 2002, has assumed her role with immediate effect and will be fronting a new marketing campaign for Tulip Group’s condominium and hotel development, Centara Grand Residence Pattaya.

In an interview with 2 Magazine, Khun Boom (pictured) explained that she had purchased a three-bedroom duplex with private swimming pool, and in an unusual move she actually approached Tulip Group’s Vice President Jason Payne (also pictured) to discuss working with the group.

She said: “I personally contacted Jason about becoming brand ambassador after falling in love with the project. Tulip Group’s projects are outstanding and untouchable in my opinion.”

Questioned why she would make a good ambassador for the developer, she said: “I am a real customer who fell in love with the project. What better recommendation is that?  I am not someone who has been paid to promote the project; I will be promoting the project because I simply love it.”

Payne was equally thrilled about the arrangement. He said: “It’s very special for us that someone as well-known as Khun Boom was genuinely excited about working on promoting our brand. It was a great surprise when she phoned to discuss working together, and I am looking forward to developing a close working relationship with her.”

Tulip Group has three condominiums and four hotels under construction in the Gulf of Thailand resort of Pattaya. It is also working with Centara Hotels and Resorts, Park Plaza Hotels Europe and Holiday Inn.
