Koh Brothers Group Limited has entered into a joint venture (JV) with Japan’s Okumura Corporation (OC) to develop Parc Olympia, a residential project at Flora Drive.
“With Koh Brothers’ experience in developing quality, themed projects, and Okumura Corporation’s expertise and strong track record in co-ordinating heavyweight building and infrastructure projects, this synergistic milestone partnership is set to lift productivity when constructing Parc Olympia,” said Francis Koh, Managing Director and Group CEO of Koh Brothers.
As OC’s maiden foray into Singapore’s housing industry, the JV deal sets the foundation for future collaboration between both partners in Singapore.
Commenting on the partnership, Yoshiki Yabuta, General Manager for Overseas Department at OC, said: “We are proud to have joined hands with a leading player in the Singapore construction and real estate industry.”
“Our combined technology and technical expertise has the potential to benefit our customers through improved efficiencies, innovative products and timely delivery. We are excited about the opportunity to expand our relationship with Koh Brothers in the Singapore market through our new joint venture,” he added.
Parc Olympia will focus on “responsible living” by adopting high construction standards and eco-friendly features that comply with the Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) Green Mark standards.
“While we strive to maximise productivity, we remain committed to maintain the highest standards in building and construction practices,” Koh noted.
