Amid the customarily quiet Hungry Ghost Festival, both eCO and One Dusun Residences (pictured) still managed to attract strong interest from buyers.
The eCO project at Bedok South Avenue 3 received over 300 registrations of interest for the 222 units released, with prices at S$1,250 psf.
“About half of the interested parties came from residents in the Bedok and Marine Parade areas,” noted Lee Sze Teck, Senior Manager of Training, Research and Consultancy at Dennis Wee Group.
In addition, around 50 percent of them had HDB addresses. Lee said that two-bedroom units ranging from 597 to 1,181 sq ft drew the most interest.
The 99-year leasehold project jointly developed by Far East Organization, Frasers Centrepoint and Sekisui House offers 752 units comprising 246 suites, 220 small-office-home-office (Soho) apartments, 252 condo units and 34 townhouses.
Meanwhile, units at One Dusun Residences, a freehold mixed-development, also saw good results with less than 10 available apartments remaining.
Located at Jalan Dusun (off Balestier Road), the project features a total of 154 apartments and 76 shop units. The apartments are priced from S$1,400 to S$1,500 psf.
Majority of the units are two-bedders between 452 and 786 sq ft, according to marketing material. In addition, there are seven two- and three-bedroom duplex penthouses.
Separately, Alan Tan, Head of Sales and Marketing at HSR, said they are now ramping up efforts to sell units at Moda@East Coast Road, an 18-storey freehold mixed-use development with 56 homes and three commercial units.
Units at the project are being sold at S$1,700 psf on average, with some 20 units still remaining.
