Citylife developer to build more EC penthouses

By Romesh Navaratnarajah:

Amara Holdings, the developer leading the consortium behind CityLife@Tampines executive condominium (EC), plans to build penthouses in other upcoming EC projects, The Straits Times reported.

“Based on the good response for the penthouses… we will attempt to do it better for our future projects, if that avenue is still available to developers,” said Albert Teo, Chief Executive of Amara Holdings.

“Do it better” means the company will deliver penthouses with “better designs to meet the needs of home buyers”, said Teo, adding that it is open to developing other EC projects as long as there are viable opportunities.

Targeting multi-tier families who wish to live under one roof, the 514-unit CityLife (pictured) also features three and four-bedroom dual key units.

CityLife was launched on 29 December and all of its 16 penthouses were snapped up by noon that day. Strong sales were also recorded with more than 90 percent of units sold in just two days, said Jeffrey Hong, Chief Executive at marketing agent Global Property Strategic Alliance.
