Battersea Power Station (pictured) will begin sales in Singapore this week on the back of selling more than 600 of the 800 units which form part of the first phase of the iconic London project.
Rob Tincknell, Chief Executive Officer of Battersea Power Station Development Company, said: "The first week of sales at Battersea Power Station has been phenomenal with commitments for more than £600 million (S$1.2 billion) received since the launch just five days ago. This is a water shed moment in the history of the Power Station and key to finally enabling this important London site to be regenerated, more than thirty years since its decommissioning.”
Singapore sales at the iconic London development will start at a preview for pre-registered applicants on January 17, with the general launch happening on Saturday and Sunday, January 18-19.
Visitors to the exhibition at Singapore’s St Regis Hotel can review the Rafael Viñoly masterplan and have the opportunity to purchase apartments in the Circus West first phase development.
Circus West is a mix of 800 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, townhouses and penthouses as well as a blend of offices, shops, leisure and hospitality designed by Ian Simpson Architects and de Ryke Marsh Morgan. Prices start from £338,000 (S$669,197) for a studio apartment. First occupancy is expected to be in 2016.
Battersea Power Station site is owned by a Malaysian consortium of investors consisting of S P Setia, Sime Darby Berhad and the Employees Provident Fund. The development of the project will be undertaken by Battersea Power Station Development Company.
The residential team at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has been appointed as international sales agent for the Battersea Power Station. In Singapore, S P Setia International (S) Pte Ltd. will join JLL in selling the apartments.
Doris Tan, Head of Residential International Project Sales at JLL in Singapore, said: "JLL Singapore is indeed delighted and honoured to be part of this iconic launch in Singapore. In my 20 years of representing London’s developers, I have never had the opportunity to sell something as unique as an iconic development along River Thames and with so much history as Battersea Power Station."
