The SkyPark Residences EC (pictured) attracted healthy interest over the launch weekend with more than 50 percent of its 506 units sold.
The project, the first-of-its-kind in Sembawang, was three times oversubscribed during its e-application exercise with 1,600 applications, making it the most popular EC in 2013.
The seventh and last EC to launch this year, SkyPark Residences has a record 28 maisonettes, of which 85 percent were snapped up during the launch. Comprising larger units starting from three-bedrooms compared with other ECs which usually start from two-bedrooms, the project’s average selling price is S$793 psf.
Over 50 percent of buyers are upgraders and first-timers from Sembawang as well as the nearby housing estates including Admiralty and Yishun.
Facilities include a 100m SkyPark with a jogging track, sky lounge, dining terrace and children’s playground. Additionally, more than 30 percent of ground-level common spaces comprise water features.
