Indonesian residential and commercial property developer Lippo Karawaci scooped the top prize of Best Developer Southeast Asia at last night’s Southeast Asia Property Awards 2013 which took place in Singapore.
The gala dinner and awards ceremony, which took place in front of more than 400 from the region’s real estate and property industry, saw Koh Samui’s Samujana take the Best Villa Development Southeast Asia, while the Best Condo Development Southeast Asia award went to Singapore’s Marina Bay Suites.
It was also a good night for Jones Lang LaSalle. The agency collected the Best Consultancy awards in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
The third annual awards saw a record number of more than 1,400 nominations from across Southeast Asia.
Terry Blackburn, Chief Executive Officer of organisers Ensign Media, told PropertyGuru: “This year we’ve been especially pleased with both the strength and depth of entries from Malaysia, so much so that we are planning to hold the first ever Malaysia Property Awards in the second quarter of 2014.”
