Real estate portal PropertyGuru is expanding its series of consumer seminars, once again partnering with Hao Yuan Development to hold one this Saturday (16 November) at the Sea Horizon Sales Gallery along Pasir Ris Drive 3.
The seminar is open to the public for free and starts at 12:30pm. This time the focus will be on the popularity of executive condominiums (ECs) and the impact of the recent home loan measures on buyers and investors.
Speakers include Keith Cheong, Head of Research and Analytics at PropertyGuru Group; Thomas Tan, Principal Trainer at Real Centre Network; and Lim Yong Hock, KEO at PropNex Realty.
Commenting, Cheong said: “Amidst the current property market outlook, the comparatively lower prices of ECs makes it more palatable for first-time home buyers and HDB upgraders. With no further EC launches till August 2014, we could expect the current EC projects, especially those developments with strong location attributes to become attractive options for the above groups of buyers.”
The 99-year leasehold Sea Horizon comprises 495 units spread across 12 tower blocks. More than two times oversubscribed at the end of its e-application exercise in August, available units range from two- to five-bedrooms and penthouses. Some offer a FlexiSpace feature that allows reconfiguration of the master bedroom to create an en-suite baby suite, walk-in wardrobe or a study room.
