As part of plans to support its salespersons and clients, property agency PropNex recently held its inaugural Consumer Empowerment Seminar at Kallang Theatre.

The event was attended by more than 1,300 consumers who not only had their property queries answered, but were also updated on emerging property trends and the strategy to take in the current market.

“Knowledge of property investment is central in today’s intricate Singapore property market. It is an essential component of the empowerment of consumers as it gives them a better understanding of investment risks and opportunities,” said Mohd Ismail, CEO of PropNex.

The first of four consumer education seminars, it featured two expert speakers – property veteran Ismail and Alfred Chia, head of financial advisory SingCapital.

Commenting, 54-year old property investor John Bounaparte, said: “The seminar was full of useful and practical advice to help consumers make better and more informed decisions with regard to their real estate investments. It was really worth the time spent, as the knowledge and insights gained from the seminar can help to save a lot of regrets and disappointments in the future.”

PropNex will conduct the remaining seminars on 30 May, 21 August and 6 November this year. This will be on top of its free weekly talks held every Friday night.
