PropertyGuru, Asia’s leading property portal has clinched top spot among Singapore’s most visited local websites, with www.propertyguru.com.sg beating out all other property and non-tech sites including DBS.com, ChannelNewsAsia.com, iras.gov.sg and AsiaOne.com, according to the independent web analytics service Alexa.
Comscore has also ranked PropertyGuru in first place with 70 percent market share of visitors to property websites in the country. The agency added that PropertyGuru is the most engaging portal for property seekers who spend 2.5 times longer to read at least twice the number of pages per visit each month compared with other online property sites.
“The numbers show that PropertyGuru.com.sg is relevant and a required tool to Singapore property seekers looking to find the latest information and trends to buy or sell homes or commercial properties,” said PropertyGuru co-founder and Group CEO, Steve Melhuish.
“Whilst we are strongly entrenched in our position as the number one property portal in Singapore, the competition is stiff and continues to find innovative means to rise in rankings,” Melhuish added.
Moving forward, the company plans to maintain its rapid growth with four or five property pages viewed per visitor each day.
