Luxury villas in Bali put on sale

12 unique villas at The Stairs Villa Hotel on the southern coast of Bali in Indonesia are up for sale, according to marketing agent Savills.

Designed by the world-famous Philippe Starck, the one-bedroom loft villas (pictured) are located within the hotel – a luxury property with boutiques, a signature spa and workout facilities. Additionally, there is a bar lounge, restaurant, café/patisserie and mezzanine bibliothèque.

To be completed by 2014, the architecture and furnishings of each villa were created by Starck as his first wholly-envisioned hotel villa concept in the Asia Pacific region.

“We wanted to create a new sense of a luxury lifestyle project yet to be conceived in Bali — our own interpretation of the resident communities embracing a distinct urban buzz — and Philippe Starck came immediately to mind as the one to help us achieve our vision,” said Nicolas Panzani, President Director of the DeCiazini Group, developer of The Stairs.

Each villa comes with its own pool, two bathrooms, a master loft suite and open concept living and dining spaces, among others.

Julian Sedgwick, Director and Head of Business Development for International Residential Sales (APAC) at Savills, said: “Since there are only 12 properties available, we anticipate the villas to be purchased quickly by clients who seek an investment with solid growth, but also a place to jet to on the weekends to forget the stressors of every day life.”
