Asia’s leading property portal, PropertyGuru will hold its 5th Malaysia Property Show (MPS) at Marina Bay Sands over the weekend (13 to 14 July).
The event will serve as a platform for Singapore property buyers and investors to gain insights on latest trends in Malaysia’s real estate market straight from key speakers, including Ahyat Ishak, Founder of The Strategic Property Investor (TSPI) Programme; Elizabeth Siew, Advocate & Solicitor; Ishmael Ho, Special Project Manager at HCS Research; and Jonathan Lee, COO of GMAC Realtors.
Milan Doshi, Property Guru & Best Selling-Author; Ryan Khoo, Director & Co-Founder, Alpha Marketing & Malaysian Investors in Singapore; and Steven Tan, COO of SkyBridge International Sdn Bhd, will also give insightful property presentations.
MPS will feature the latest projects from renowned developers including 9 Bukit Utama, Country Garden, HCK Capital, KIP Group, Land & General Bhd, OSK Property, Tanah Sutera, Tropicana Danga Bay, Tropicana Danga Cove and UEM Sunrise.
Upcoming Malaysian developments, particularly those around Iskandar Malaysia and Johor Bahru, are expected to draw strong interest from Singapore buyers because of minimal foreign ownership restrictions, high return-on-investment potential and capital appreciation of up to 15 percent.
Malaysian properties do not incur capital gains tax if sold after five years. The cost of living in the country is also lower.
