The former house of Los Angeles Lakers basketball icon Shaquille O’Neal in Beverly Hills (pictured) has been listed on the market for US$9.5 million (S$12.04 million) by Japanese pop star Kyosuke Himoru, who bought the mansion from the retired NBA player for US$6.4 million (S$8.11 million) in 2004.

While Kyosuke made significant changes to the 9,752 sq ft property, the basketball court built and used by NBA’s Most Valuable Player for the 1999-2000 regular season still stands today.

Other facilities include a swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, tennis court, game room and a hi-tech screening room with stadium seating.

Meanwhile, the house used by Chuck Norris in “Walker, Texas Ranger” is up for sale at US$1.2 million (S$1.52 million). Located in the Dallas neighbourhood of Northwood Hills, the property served as the on-screen home of his character Cordell Walker in the series.

The 7,362 sq ft home features a theatre, weight room, seven bathrooms and a separate building which was used as a studio during the production of the CBS series which aired from 1993 to 2001.

Co-owned by Chuck Norris and his brother Aaron Norris, the property agent marketing the mansion told the Associated Press that Norris and his wife are planning to down-size, given that they have other homes in the area.
