Non-landed home prices down in May

Prices of completed private apartments and condominiums fell 0.2
percent in May compared to the 1.9 percent month-on-month increase recorded in April, according to flash estimates of the NUS home price index.

The index monitors prices of
completed non-landed private homes, excluding executive condominiums (ECs).

The latest data shows that the sub-index for the Central Region (excluding small units)
climbed 1.5 percent month-on-month, while there was a 1.6 percent drop for the Non-Central
region (excluding small units).

Meanwhile, the sub-index for small units dipped 1.3 percent compared to the 1.4 percent gain seen in April.
