Asia’s leading real estate portal PropertyGuru and property giant CapitaLand successfully staged an exclusive property seminar at the Sky Habitat Show Suite next to Bishan MRT station on 29 June.
The event featured two key speakers: Keith Cheong, Head of Research & Analytics, PropertyGuru Group, who discussed “Understanding the Property Values of City Fringe Projects”, while Desmond Chua, Head of LoanGuru, PropertyGuru Group, covered “Securing the Best Mortgage Financing Solution”.
Cheong said: “To satisfy the discerning tastes of property buyers, we’re seeing many developers taking efforts to build designer units like townhouses, bay villas and sky terraces within their projects. Such unique configurations and layout tend to command a premium above the typical units; and should not be used as the only benchmark for price comparisons.”
Aside from the insightful talks given by key speakers, participants also had the chance to preview Sky Habitat, an iconic condominium development in District 20. The 509-unit project is designed by Moshe Safdie, known for his work on iconic landmarks including Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands and Habitat 67 in Montreal, Canada.
Three sky bridges connect the development’s two 38-storey towers. Units range from one-bedroom+study to four-bedroom configurations and penthouses. The condo’s design showcases the family and community space, featuring generous community gardens and outdoor spaces as well as individual penthouse-like roof terraces and gardens for some of the residential units.
Aside from these unique facilities, the development also banks on its ideal location in Bishan, which is now undergoing a transformation with high-end condos and landed properties springing up. While offering proximity and easy accessibility to the rest of Singapore, Sky Habitat is also close to schools and to nature with the nearby Bishan Park.
