Sports stars selling million dollar homes

Filipino boxing superstar Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao has listed his California mansion (pictured) for US$2.7 million (S$3.5 million), according to media reports.

Located at Hancock Park in Los Angeles, the two-storey house which was once featured on MTV Cribs, has five bedrooms and 5.5 baths with the master suite balcony overlooking a pool and spa.

The Mediterranean-style property also features a luxurious kitchen that comes complete with a built-in coffee bar, gourmet appliances and a large kitchen island with floating glass hood.

Public records show that Pacquiao bought it in 2009 for US$2.17 million (S$2.8 million), staying there whenever he had a boxing match or when making trips to the US.

Meanwhile, NBA superstar Kobe Bryant and his wife, Vanessa, have put one of their multi-million dollar Newport Coast mansions in California on sale.

Also in the Mediterranean-style, the 8,500 sq ft home is listed for US$8.599 million (S$11 million). Built in 1997, the two-storey property comprises an 850 sq ft gym, a paneled office/library with shark tank, a hair salon, theatre, seven bathrooms and four bedrooms on the upper level, while the grounds come with an outdoor kitchen, swimming pool and spa, fire pit, and a lawn.
