Tokyo, London projects to tempt buyers

30 Aug 2013

Two prime overseas property projects – one from Tokyo and one from London – will be tempting Singapore property buyers and investors at property exhibitions in the city-state over the coming weekend.

Jones Lang LaSalle will be exhibiting Tokyo project Krono Residence – The Parkhouse Harumi Towers at a property exhibition at St Regis Hotel Senator Room tomorrow and Sunday between 11am and 7pm.

Singapore has seen an increase in Japanese property events this year. Prior to 2013 very few Japanese developers had exhibited here however increasing interest from local investors has seen more projects being showcased in Singapore.

The Harumi area of the Japanese capital is experiencing major growth yet Krono Residences, which has been designed by world-famous architect Richard Meier, has been created to provide its residents with the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

With a panoramic view of the waterfront canal, The Parkhouse Harumi Towers is a flagship project of Mitsubishi Jisho Residence and Kajima Corporation – the former being Japan’s top condominium supplier in 2011, and the latter, the country’s major general contractor.

The development will consist of super high-rise twin residential towers that dominate the waterfront of Tokyo Bay.

Both consisting of 49 stories above ground, the first Krono Residence tower (883 units; completion in November 2013) offers one- to three-bedrooms while the second tower, Tiaro Residence, (861 units; completion in April 2016) offers one- to four-bedrooms including more spacious premium units.

Getting its ‘World Premier Launch’ in Singapore this weekend is Brunswick House, Fulham Reach (pictured) in London’s W6.

On the north bank of the River Thames, the modern, contemporary development comprises one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments in a tranquil riverside location. Open-plan living spaces have been designed to harmonise with the surroundings and unique history of the area.

Facilities for the 999-year leasehold project, which is expected to complete in mid-2015, include a spa, swimming pool, gymnasium, cinema room, wine cellar, snooker room and virtual golf.

The Singapore worldwide launch, which is being marketed by Knight Frank, takes place tomorrow and Sunday between 11am and 7pm at St Regis Hotel Governor Room.
