A good class bungalow (GCB) at No. 74 Belmont Road is up for sale through expression of interest (EOI) and is expected to fetch S$50 million, revealed marketing agent Savills.
The site has a land area of 26,455 sq ft and is located within the Belmont Good Class Bungalow Area. Perched on a slope, it offers views of the surrounding greenery.
Completed in 2009, the property comprises a main house with five bedrooms and a self-contained guest house, with a total floor area of about 16,200 sq ft.
Facilities include a full-sized entertainment area in the guest house and 20-metre mineral water swimming pool.
According to Savills, the site is close to eating establishments, shops and schools. Holland Village, Dempsey Village and Orchard Road are also within minutes drive.
Steven Ming, Deputy Managing Director for Savills Singapore, said: “The GCB market remains the buying interest of the ultra rich. The limited supply and strong holding power of GCB owners will hold steady GCB prices with yet still an upward bias for very good properties.”
The EOI exercise will close on 11 October.
