Over 300 new houses located at the gateway to Queen Elizabeth Park in London will be launched for sale over the weekend (11-12 January) in Singapore at The Regent Hotel’s Boardroom II & III, Colliers International revealed today.

The new houses at Glasshouse Gardens (pictured) are part of the first phase of The International Quarter in Stratford, a joint venture project between London Continental Railways (LCR) and Lend Lease.

The residential development will feature two towers of one- to three-bedroom apartments with open plan living and kitchen spaces. Each unit will have its own private outdoor space, providing residents panoramic views across the City, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Canary Wharf.

The project expects to get TOP by 2016.

Kristy Lansdown, Project Director at Lend Lease, said: “Glasshouse Gardens will offer residents a unique opportunity to live amongst, and make use of, some of the world’s most elite sporting facilities where the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games were held. Residents will be able to enjoy spectacular views of the London skyline and will benefit from the extensive transport network put in place for the London 2012 Olympic Games.”

“Stratford is now well on its way to becoming one of the most well connected and desirable places to live in London and we look forward to delivering these great homes in this exciting and vibrant part of the capital,” she added

Colliers International said 90% of property buyers in Singapore who looking to invest overseas are looking to purchase in London, based on Buyer Pulse the firm conducted from October to November last year.

Meanwhile, average prices in London are up over 25% over the last four years and six percent last year. Colliers also forecasted a 4.5% growth in 2014.
