E-applications exceed 1380 for Lake Life

Within a week of launching, the Lake Life executive condominium (EC) in Jurong Lake District has attracted over 1,380 e-applications.

This means the 546-unit EC is more than 2.5 times over-subscribed.

And with two more days to go before applications end on 12 October, Lake Life looks set to break last year’s record for a new EC launch.

That distinction went to the 506-unit SkyPark Residences in Sembawang with over 1,600 e-applications.

Meanwhile, prices of Lake Life’s units will be announced on 5 November 2014 around the time the showflat opens for viewings. Indications are that prices will be below $900 psf.

Developed by a consortium led by Evia Real Estate, the 99-year leasehold EC is expected to obtain TOP in 2018.

So far this year, EC transactions have been slow due to the lack of any new launches since October 2013. That’s changed now that 1,758 units will enter the market from the three EC launches in September and October.

Bellewoods, located in Woodlands, was the first EC to enter the market in 2013 after launching to applicants on 27 September. This was followed by Lake Life while the third and last EC of the year, Bellewaters at Anchorvale Crescent, will launch next week.
