Current market conditions are prompting more property agencies to form strategic partnerships to compete more effectively to deal with the falling home sales.
Last week, CI Agency and Vestor Realty joined forces to develop the skills of their agents to provide the best results to home buyers and developers.
They join mid-sized agencies OrangeTee, HSR International, Dennis Wee Realty and SLP International that came together to form the Project Alliance Group back in July. Recently, C&H group, RE/MAX and M.O.R.E Property group also teamed up to create REAL Alliance, a bloc of 1,500 agents, while JLL acquired a 20 percent stake in PropNex to boost its residential business.
Meanwhile, this latest tie-up will focus on three key areas, namely providing agents in both companies with the best training, equip them with better tools for their work through technological development, and promote the right culture and core values that will set a benchmark for the industry.
CI Agency is a franchise of Colliers International (Singapore), while Vestor Realty is an affiliate of ColinTan Training International.
Mark Lim, Chief Operating Officer of CI Agency, said: “This is a strategic move by CI Agency to collaborate with a reputable partner to leverage their capability as a trainer to equip our realtors with the right skill and knowledge.
“Having great insights and deep knowledge coupled with excellent service will enable us to excel in this highly competitive service industry. Knowledge and service quality are intangibles and not easily emulated by our competitors. It will be our point of differentiation and we believe property purchasers and developers will appreciate our ability to help them make informed and smart decisions,” he added.
