Chip Eng Seng wins $232.8m HDB contract

Chip Eng Seng Corporation, via its wholly owned subsidiary Chip Eng Seng Contractors, has won a $232.8 million contract from the HDB.

The contract comprises the construction of nine blocks of residential buildings in Woodlands. The construction period is about 42 months.

Notably, Chip Eng Seng said, in a filing to the Singapore Exchange (SGX), that the group’s order book stood at $548 million as at 30 June 2014.

The company also noted it is involved in other HDB projects in Bukit Panjang, Bukit Batok and Jurong West.
