Koh Brothers awarded $98m contract to build Yishun BTO

13 Feb 2014

Singapore-listed construction and property development company Koh Brothers Group has clinched a $98 million building contract from the housing board for a Build-to-Order (BTO) project in Yishun.

Vine Grove @ Yishun (pictured) will consist of five 13-storey blocks and one seven-storey block, comprising 696 residential units. Under the contract, Koh Brothers will be responsible for the project’s construction, completion and maintenance.

Construction work will commence in March and is expected to last 31 months.

Around 16 percent of the project involves precast materials such as façade slabs, horizontal slabs and offsite fabrication.

Francis Koh, Managing Director and Group CEO of Koh Brothers, said the group’s experience in precast elements “positions us well to execute public sector construction projects efficiently”.
