Human resources consultancy ECA International has launched a new interactive accommodation tool to provide HR managers with a fast and easy way to set the right accommodation allowances for international assignees.
The flexible, online interface draws on ECA’s extensive expatriate housing data and global mobility policy expertise, enabling HR to assess and review the different levels of housing provision according to family size and seniority.
The tool also helps to identify the specific housing options within a location and according to a chosen budget.
Lastly, it allows managers to see the location of recommended areas, the facilities available within them and their proximity to the office on an interactive map.
Lee Quane, Regional Director, ECA International, said: “Housing provision is one of the most costly elements of an expatriate pay package.”
“However, with a well-thought out policy, companies can keep costs and administration under control while making assignees feel they are being treated equitably.”
