A Chicago-headquartered real estate company has picked Singapore as home for its Asia Pacific corporate office.
The company, called Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, is the largest network of top independent local and regional brand-name brokerage firms in the residential sector of real estate, according to its press statement.
The 500-plus firms affiliated with the company are represented by 4,000 offices and 120,000 associates. The company, and its luxury division Luxury Portfolio International, have expanded international in recent years with member firms in more than 40 countries.
Chris Dietz, Vice President of International Operations, said: “The influence of this area on economic and housing markets worldwide is undeniable. Our members have a long history of servicing clients moving to and from this region, and we are delighted to establish an office here to further expand our mutual business opportunities.”
The Singapore office at Raffles Place will service existing members in Asia, including those in Hong Kong, mainland China, Singapore, Japan, India, as well as New Zealand. The company also have aggressive expansion plans that will focus largely on emerging countries such as Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand during 2014.
